Cali Jones, a 27 year old Saxophonist, is bringing the “Quiet Storm” era back from the dead. Cali’s fresh take on silky smooth melodies, and soulful style makes for a very seductive and alluring atmosphere. Cali’s live performances are very energetic, tasteful, and full of humor. He knows how to entertain any audience!

Jones has performed in all types of venues such as restaurants, large scale events, and concert halls. Cali released his Debut Album titled "Soul Assassin" in 2022. In October of that same year, he hosted an album release concert at the Ferguson Center For The Arts in Newport News, Virginia, where he had a packed house in the Peebles Theater. The Saxman also released his debut single "Electric Shock" in 2022, which was a Top 5 HIT on the Groove Jazz/Radiowave Chart! It was also added to the rotation on SiriusXM’s Watercolors from day one of its radio campaign.

Cali says, "I am very excited to see what the future holds for me, and cannot wait to share my music with the world, and perform for all of you!"

Born and raised in Southeast Virginia, Cali Jones first encountered music in the 6th Grade. The rest was History.

Now 27 years old, Jones learned to grow as a saxophonist through listening to the greats such as Michael Brecker, Bob Berg, Boney James, Richard Elliot and Dave Koz while perfecting his craft. Upon graduating from York High School, he started working for his Alma Mater’s marching band as an Assistant Director for over a decade. Jones hopes that through his own playing, as well as being an instructor, he can encourage aspiring musicians to be just as excited and interested in music as he was growing up.

Cali has had the opportunity to work, perform, and collaborate with some of the industry’s greatest musicians like Dave Koz, Christian de Mesones, Nathan Mitchell, Lemek, Quinton Gerard W, Paul Brown, and more.

While taking a bit of a hiatus in 2024/25, Cali decided to reach out to Grammy-Winning Producer and Smooth Jazz Guitarist Paul Brown to record some new music. Brown says, “Cali Jones has the silky smoothness of Boney James with the tone, power, and edge of Richard Elliot”.
