LEMEK is the 25th Silver Anniversary Seabreeze Rising Star and one of only two 36th Annual Catalina Island JazzTrax Festival "Where Did They Come From?" Artists. Performing live for 10,000 loyal Smooth Jazz Lifestyles Enthusiasts and for the longest standing audience event in the historic Avalon Casino, LEMEK’s Emergence is the supervening product of the overdetermined enduring guitarist. The youngest artist with "Trippin N' Rhythm" records, LEMEK’s Billboard #1 live performance musicianship is welcoming audiences to enjoy the future of Smooth Jazz today.

Prior to spending most of his time co-composing and recording in the studio, LEMEK has been showcasing his quickly developed chops for New Orleans tourists and audiences since 2011. His works include live and in-studio performances as part of Contemporary Gospel Singer Isabel Davis' backing band. 

 LEMEK studied guitar performance with the Neo Jazz School of Music (New Orleans).   Participating in numerous school jam nights, where among other repertoire, he learned to ace jazz standards and qualified to join their Jazz/R&B band.

 Performing under the name Yisrael, the ensemble played such popular local and live in-studio broadcast events as The Treme Seventh Ward Festival, WGNO's “News With A Twist” TV Show (ABC affiliate), steady engagements at the Balcony Music Club (BMC) and was booked for scheduled performances at the Camellia City Smooth Jazz Festival— with a lineup of genre greats Gerald Albright, Alex Bugnon, and Chieli Minucci.
