Patrice Isley

Soul Vocalist

Las Vegas, NV

Born in Houston, Texas, Patrice Isley (related to The Isley Brothers family by marriage) entered the world with an innate musicality that would shape contemporary soul music for decades. Her journey from early prodigy to international recording artist and vocal authority reads like the blueprint of a modern musical sage.

Raised amid a diverse music landscape and classic soul influences, Patrice's voice — a mesmerizing 5- octave range — was cultivated under the mentorship of legendary vocal developer David Lee Brewer, thanks to an introduction by her cousin Roy Brown, the renowned sound engineer whose work has touched the biggest names in live performance history.

In 1990, Patrice played a pivotal consultative role in vocal talent evaluation that helped shape a nascent group whose members — including Beyoncé Giselle Knowles and Ashley Tamar Davis — would later redefine global pop music. Her instinct for great voices and musical intuition helped connect that group with world-class vocal development, setting the stage for the emergence of Destiny's Child

Relocating to Los Angeles in 1992 under Brewer's endorsement, Patrice became a first-call session vocalist, quickly building a recording and touring portfolio that reads like a who's who of modern music: Barry White, Gladys Knight, Coolio, Jermaine Dupri, Philip Bailey, Ashford & Simpson, Andraé Crouch, Byron Cage, Smokey Robinson, Chante Moore, Norman Connors, and more — all before launching her own solo career.
